About The Ashley Care Group

The Ashley Care Group own and manage three, Norfolk based Care Homes providing 24 hour, around the clock, residential care and specialist dementia care for the people of  Norfolk and Suffolk. All three care homes are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Residents enjoy around the clock, quality care in homely, safe and supportive care homes positioned in quiet locations. Teams of dedicated and qualified care home professionals are focused on maintaining a ‘person focused’ quality of life for all residents, which they would not enjoy otherwise.

Homely Accommodation

Our residential care homes

Rooms are ALL central-heated, with a call bell and offer colour TV, telephone socket, electric power points, wardrobe, bedside cabinet, bed and easy chair. Residents are encouraged to create a personal ambience by adding family photographs, artefacts and personal belongings. Most rooms are en-suite, facilitating everything to make the residents’ lives as comfortable and supportive as possible.

Meals

Prepared and appetising courses

Appetising meals are prepared in each care home’s purpose-designed kitchen. Dietary menus - and specially prepared meals for individual resident’s own eating disorders – are all accommodated in our ‘person focused’ residential and dementia care homes. Residents who need support during meal times will enjoy a personal meal service - including feeding – if required. We employ a Catering Manager within in the Ashley Care Group to ensure individual care home cooks are delivering fresh food and  well-balanced, nutritional meals.

  • 24 hour, individual ‘person centred’ quality care, including drug administration and medical care
  • Bathing and palliative care facilities
  • All meals, including specialist dietary requirements
  • Provision of colour TV and all residential furniture, including bed and bedside cabinet, wardrobe,lounge armchair, storage facilities, plus call bell, electric points and telephone link
  • Laundry, plus ironing of bed linen and personal clothing
  • Social and psychological support, including games, activities, therapy groups,  entertainment and outings
  • Safety and security on a 24/7, around the clock, staff support programme and monitoring service

Standard of Excellence

Our aim is to deliver a standard of excellence respected by the Care Quality Commission and our residents, which embraces ‘good care practices’ continually. Our objectives are to ensure ALL residents reside in a clean, safe and comfortable environment, where their independence, dignity and choices are of paramount importance.

 

All our staff are trained to be focused and attentive towards  residents’ individual requirements, ensuring they are all treated with the deference and respect their choices aspire to. Management and staff are focused on delivering a level of care and understanding that will sustain every residents’ overall quality of life.

 

This care service MUST be delivered  flexibly and in a non-discriminatory mode, whilst respecting every individuals’ right to privacy, independence and personal fulfilment. Each resident’s needs in matters of religion, race, sexuality and sexual orientation, politics, parenthood, disabilities or interests are recognised and respected without comment or confrontation.

 

Residents’ dietary needs, food intakes and special needs – including medication – are all recognised and administered accordingly. Ashley Care Group will manage and administer all staff training and care procedures to maximise the quality of life for residents. Residents will receive written information on the Ashley Care Group’s  procedure for handling residents or visitors’ comments, compliments or complaints,and be advised on how to use this information. Ashley Care Group will meet all legislative directives, both British and EU, including the care standards as defined by the Care Quality Commission.
